It’s been a busy year so far for the HireGround dev team. We’ve pushed out several exciting changes and feature improvements to the StartDate ATS.
The most noteworthy updates include:
The careers page which shows an employer’s job listings has been given a makeover. It now features a streamlined list of job titles with a brief description. We’ve removed the often lengthy job summary, which makes the jobs easier to browse. The location, category and industry options remain at the left hand side for easy filtering.
For recruiters, regret letter emails can now be sent out to candidates at any time, and from any hiring stage. Choose which candidate(s) to email, and when, for even better communication. This is a great feature for long running job postings, where unqualified applicants can be notified sooner, instead of waiting weeks or months until the job closes.
Larger resume files are now accepted. We’ve improved the file upload to allow applicants to upload very long resumes – even 10 page documents are ok!
The rejected stage within a job’s workflow now shows the Rejection Reason beside the candidate’s name. Now recruiters can see at a glance why a person was rejected without opening their profile. This is a big time-saver if looking to bring certain candidates back into the running after previously rejecting them. For example, someone was rejected for ‘Not enough experience,’ but it has become evident that there is a shortage of the experience level you originally required. Now you can easily find these types of candidates and move them back into consideration.
Plus a few smaller enhancements and bug fixes that are less visible, but help keep the system error free and easy to use.
We are always happy to hear thoughts and suggestions from our clients, as their ideas frequently help to define StartDate’s improvements and new features.
